Woven into the fabric of the Round Rock community, the Chasco Family YMCA offers abundant opportunity for the active lifestyle. Now, the ever so popular sports fields flaunt detailed improvements for even more family friendly fun.
The west side of the Chasco Family YMCA sports fields holds a new 3,360 square foot open air pavilion, restroom, and concession stand buildings. It also gained a Tango Tower zip line – a thrill seeking activity well-suited for any adventurer.
The east side of the sports fields includes an open air pavilion similar to that of the west side. Also mirroring the west side of the space, a new enclosed restroom and concession stand now serve east side visitors and patrons. The east fields are completely new and include three (3) T-Ball fields and one (1) competition level Little League field complete with a new dugout, backstop, fencing, and new clay infields.
A full-length football field adorns the south end of the complex and a new parking lot is added to the north making space for approximately 100 additional vehicles. These fields liken the west and east fields with a vertical picket fence and field lighting for safety and night play. The fields are connected with an underpass walkway beneath Mays street installed by the City of Round Rock.
